Cleaner Development Mechanism- CDM, an opportunity for technology transfer in Vietnamese industry

So, can the Vietnamese industrial enterprises still find any opportunity from CDM?
During the in-plant CP assessment, VNCPC has suggested many options to improve the production efficiency and reduce the negative impact on environment (including GHG emission) and on human being. Due to the shortage of capital, mainly no or low cost options with the very short payback time have been implemented. VNCPC has put CP options into several categories, such as Good housekeeping, better production control, material change, technology change, on-site reuse and recycling, useful by-product manufacturing and product improvement. |
