Public Launching Ceremony for Green Credit Trust Fund (GCTF)

The Launching Ceremony will take place from 8:30-11:30, 10 October 2007 at Nikko Hotel (84 Tran Nhan Tong, Hanoi).

Sponsored by Swiss Government, the Green Credit Trust Fund is designed to support small and medium Vietnamese enterprises to invest in high efficient technology or cleaner technology. A signing ceremony between the State Secretariat of Economic Affairs (SECO), Vietnam Cleaner Production Centre (VNCPC), Asia Commercial Bank (ACB), Technological and Comercial Joint Stock Bank (Techcombank), and Vietnam International Bank (VIB) took place on 17 July 2007.

The Fund will provide partly guarantee and reimbursement for investment in cleaner technology with proven positive environmental impact.

The Fund focuses on small and medium enterprises (with less than 5 million USD of charter capital or less than 500 employees).
